La Perla Ranch is owned and operated by the Schwarz family of Tecomate fame — the same genetics and land ethics that have been applied since 1983 provide a unique guest experience.
Every game hunt is guided one-on-one. Every buck taken has been watched, aged and understood on the land for years before a rifle is ever raised, a program built on patience, not shortcuts.
We keep our guest list small on purpose. It is the only way to guarantee the level of care a ranch like this owes the people who trust us with their time.

The Range at La Perla is open to our guests year-round for pistol and long-range rifle shooting — and it's now home to the La Perla Challenge, where competitors engage steel from 725 to 1,776 yards.

La Perla Ranch sits on US Highway 83, thirty-five minutes south of Laredo International Airport, midway between Laredo and Zapata in deep South Texas. Private airstrip and hangar arrangements are available for guests who want to arrive by private aircraft — inquire when you book.
